Our Story
Hinman Lawn Service is a fully licensed and insured lawn care company servicing properties in Grey Eagle, MN and the surrounding area since 1999. We are a family owned and operated business. From small town lawns to sprawling lake properties and commercial spaces, we approach every project with care and meticulous detail. We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients, getting to know them and their personal style so that we can best bring their vision to life.
Our Services
Spring & Fall Clean Ups
We will get your property ready for the upcoming growing season or the harsh winter ahead. We will remove leaves and debris, cut back perennials and work with you prepare your property for the approaching conditions.
Property Maintenance
Let us take care of your property so you can enjoy it. We specialize in caring for lake homes and cabins. We can take care of all the things associated with lake life. Whether it's providing fire wood to keeping an eye on your property when you are away we can make your life easier and bring you piece of mind. Inquire about other property management services we provide if we don't do it we can recommend someone who can.
Lawn Care
We are a full service lawn care company. From regular mowing, trimming and blowing to dethatching anything your lawn needs to thrive we do it all.
Weed Control and Fertilization
We will work with you to determine the best regiment to create a healthy weed free lawn. We do not believe in the one size fits all mentality when it comes to lawn care. We customize our applications to fit the needs and conditions of your property. We are fully licensed and adhere to all regulations (you won't see us spraying in the wind). If you don't choose us for your lawn care needs please read and follow the labels or hire another licensed professional and hold them to high standards. If you doing your own treatment and need help with calibration or what products to use and when or other questions contact us and we can point you in the right direction.
Mosquito & Tick Control
Take back your outdoor space. We offer barrier mosquito treatment and tick control. Whether you want a season long plan or single treatment for an event we can come up with a plan to manage your needs.
Core Aeration & Overseeding
We offer core aeration to relieve soil compaction and allow essential nutrients, water and oxygen to reach the roots enhancing grass growth creating a healthier thicker lawn. This is also a great time to overseed your lawn. We offer both services separately or combined.
Turf Disease & Insect Treatment
We can identify and treat turf diseases and insect infestations. From grubs to dollar spot we can diagnose the problem and come up with a plan to amend it.
Tree & Shrub Trimming
We are a registered tree service and can clean up storm damage as well as trim or take down trees. We also trim and shape shrubs and bushes.
Seeding & Sod Installation
Whether you are starting a new lawn or renovating your existing lawn we offer several seeding and sodding options.
Garden Design & Maintenance
We offer garden design services, collaborating with our clients to best express their unique and personal vision for their property. When you work with us we will help you determine which plants will thrive in your area. We can also spread mulch or landscape rock as well as apply pre and post emergent herbicides to prevent or eliminate weeds from flower beds.
Nuisance Animal Control
Whether you have deer and rabbits eating your perennials, voles tunneling all over your lawn, or geese using your property as their own private bathroom; we can help create a plan to deter these behaviors. We combine an array of mechanical, behavioral and chemical deterants to achieve the best results.
Seasonal
Keep your property looking it's best all year round. We provide cabin/home checks to deter entrudors and ensure everything is in good working order to prevent unfortunate and costly repairs. We also offer snow removal. We blow driveways instead of plowing them eliminating large piles. We also shovel all sidewalks, steps and decks. We can also remove snow from rooftops as needed.
